Perdita Felicien is a two-time World Champion, two-time Olympian in the 100m hurdles and has won more international titles and medals than any other female track and field athlete in Canadian history.

Perdita was born in Oshawa, Ontario, and received her unique name from the game show The Price is Right. She has three sisters and one brother.

Perdita credits her mother Cathy for her success, after quitting the track team for two years in high school, Cathy encouraged her daughter to go back. Eventually she earned a full scholarship to the University of Illinois, where Perdita became a three-time NCAA Champion, three-time Big Ten Conference Champion and was named Illinois Female Athlete of the Year, three years in a row.

In 2004 Perdita graduated with honours with a B.Sc. in Kinesiology, the first person in her family to graduate from college.

During 2015 Perdita was part of CBC's broadcast team for the IAAF World Championships and Pan American Games, and has worked as a reporter for CHCH News in Hamilton, Canada. Previously she's been a guest co-host on Global's The Morning Show and a colour commentator with TSN.
